SkinTyte™

SkinTyte | LexingtonA non-surgical skin lift with no down time,  SkinTyte has become one of our most popular procedures. It is FDA approved to treat wrinkles.

Infra-red light is used to heat the deeper tissue which stimulates the growth of new collagen. A sapphire chiller plate cools and protects the skin's surface, while also assisting in patient comfort. It can be used on any part of the body.  Favorite areas are those with loose skin such as the face, neck, hands, arms, abdomen, and chest.

BOTOX® Cosmetic

It seems like everybody is talking about BOTOX® Cosmetic, the highly effective, non-surgical procedure that can dramatically reduce your toughest wrinkle.  BOTOX® is used on the upper portion of the face and targets the wrinkles on the forehead, between the eyebrows and the crow's feet.  One ten-minute treatment, a few tiny injections, can reduce wrinkles that took years to form.  BOTOX® is a natural purified protein produced by a bacterium that works by relaxing the muscles that cause wrinkles.  BOTOX® is FDA approved and minimally invasive with no downtime or recovery.  BOTOX® treatments typically last between 3-4 months.

Blepharoplasty

Blepharoplasty | LexingtonBlepharoplasty, or eyelid tucks, are very common in patients over 40. This is a procedure to remove fat, along with excess skin, from the upper and lower eyelids. Eyelid surgery can correct drooping upper lids and the puffy bags under the eyes - features that make you look older and more tired than you feel. The effect is to give the eyes a more rested, youthful look with a brighter appearance. Blepharoplasty can be performed on the upper lids, lower lids or both and can also be performed in conjunction with other facial procedures.

Chemical Peel

Chemical peels improve the overall appearance of your facial skin by removing the damaged outer layer, and as a result, facial blemishes, wrinkles and uneven skin pigmentation can be reduced. A variety of peeling agents and formulations can be used, but the most consistent and commonly used agents are alphahydroxy acids (AHAs) and trichloroacetic acid (TCA).

Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion improves mild to moderate sun damage, scarring, wrinkles and other superficial skin problems. A gentle stream of tiny particles exfoliates the outer layer of skin and provides a fresh, glowing, younger appearance. Only a small amount of skin is removed, so sensitive areas such as the face, chest, neck, arms and hands can be treated. Results are comparable to a light chemical peel and should be immediately visible. Microdermabrasion is often performed in conjunction with other skin renewal procedures, such as laser treatment and chemical peels. Multiple treatments are recommended for full effect.

MicroLaserPeel

The MicroLaserPeel by Sciton® removes the outermost skin layers to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, scars and acne scars, brown spots and uneven pigmentation. MicroLaser peels offer a deeper peel (20-50 microns) than microdermabrasion (10-15 microns) and light chemical peels but a gentler peel than full laser resurfacing.

Restylane and Perlane

Chemical Peels | LexingtonRecently FDA approved for use in the United States, Restylane is an injectable material like Collagen.  Used in Europe and Canada for nearly a decade, it appears that it is both longer lasting than other materials and causes less hypersensitivity reactions.  Restylane, a naturally occurring biodegradable polysaccharide, is a hyaluronic acid produced by fermentation and metabolized by the body.   Restylane is used to smoothen skin in the lower face, particularly around the mouth, cheeks and lips. Restylane requires no prior skin testing and lasts up to 6 months, sometimes longer. Perlane is the same basic hyaluronic acid but with larger gel particles that are designed for deeper injection than Restylane for deeper folds.  Dr. Napier can help you decide which product is right for you.

Broadband Light (BBL) Photorejuvenation

Sciton's  BBL technology utilizes the power of pulsed light to treat skin conditions associated with aging, active life-styles and sun damage.  By selecting the appropriate wavelength, Dr. Napier can provide treatments custom-tailored to a client's specific skin type and desired outcomes.  This is the only pulsed light system that allows the treating physician to alter the temperature of the integrated cooling system that protects the skin's surface.  Improvements in FINE LINES, DARK SPOTS( i.e. from sun spots, acne, freckles, and birthmarks) and REDNESS (i.e. from rosacea, spider veins, acne and birthmarks) can occur with several treatments according to the severity of you condition.  Any body part can be treated and there is minimal downtime.  Sun exposure should be avoided during a treatment series for best results.

*Note- All medical procedures have associated risks and benefits which should be discussed with Dr. Napier to determine your best treatment options, if any. Individual results may vary.
